S.T.E.M

Today in S.T.E.M we had to build a chair that could hold up two toys. My group held up both the toys. What went well was that our one worked and it was very successful balancing on our groups chair. What was challenging was getting it together and taping it like our last one it was covered in tape.

Sand Dunes

On Wednesday we went to the beach we learnt a lot about Sand Dunes we did actives but the worst thing was that you would get so much sand in your eyes and it was so cold.

In my class we have been doing a Passion Project I have picked Roblox because its my favourite game ever! I have made a google slide to show why and facts about Roblox.

Today we were doing S.T.E.M what we did was we had to build a bridge that held up two school books. My group passed and my one was so colourful and strong. What went well is that it actually worked and didn't fall apart so im happy that it worked.
Our next step is to keep on doing what we did because it worked.

W.A.L.T: Work together to problem solve

Today we did S.T.E.M witch is Science, Technology Engineering and Maths. Every Friday we do S.T.E.M, What we do is our teachers from Room 2 & 4 give us a task example: Today we had to make a rail ramp for a marble. My groups one wasn't that good it had tape all over it.
What was really hard was getting the shape and then taping it together.
Nothing went well we had a really bad one compared to others.
Our next step is probably trying to get our project done before the timer runs out.

Wellington Trip 12/10/19

Today we went to the market and there was a under ground market it was so cool my sister Rosa she kept on looking at these hippy pants, finally she bought them I bought this gold necklace and very colourful earrings then after we had lunch I had chips they were so warm because it was really cold so it was warming me up then we went to Te Papa and I went into this earthquake room ad it was shaking it was fun then we looked at this bird place it had penguin's and birds. We walked to Lola Stays it was a cafe that we were eating lunch at, we were meeting Luca and David also Coco and Tash then we got some thing to eat and drink then we started to walk home we went to this bar on the way and I had a lemonade then we just started to walk back home and had dinner and went to bed.

Wellington Trip 11/10/19

In the morning we had breakfast then we got ready to walk around town we left my godmothers house were we were staying so we walked to town because we lived very close to town we lived right next to it, you can see it from my window when we got there we looked at the bee hive and it was so big I wanted to see our prime mister but she wasn't there. The we looked at all the shops and bought some clothes well my sister and my mum,nana and I think grace did bought clothes but not me so I was bored the whole time but my godmother she bought me some daisy earrings they were really pretty then we kept on walking down Cuba street where all the shops were then we had lunch at this cafe restaurant thing I got a burger with bacon and chips I had this sauce with the chips and it was so gross so my mum asked for tomato sauce then after we went shopping again then after a hour we headed back home and got ready for Wow my sister Rosa thought that I looked like a princess, the people that were coming to Wow with us is Rosa, Nana, Grace, my Mum, Gail . So Derryn ( my godmother) dropped us of at the train station and we walked to the One Red Dog to eat dinner, my cousin Luca came with my uncle David then we ate some dinner I had Hawaii pizza and a banana milkshake it was so good! Then we kept playing would you rather and Luca came up with really weird ones and really funny ones to. Then my other cousin Coco came with my aunty Tash then we all walked to Wow laughing our heads of because of Luca then when we got to Wow Luca went home with David then Tash and Coco stayed to watch Wow then we got in our seats my view was amazing but the clothes was best of the best they were so colourful and so amazing it was great my favourite one was this white gown tipe dress and if she put her hands up above her head the dress would come with it, it looked like a angel it was so cool my second favourite was this orange one it had spikes on the ground then all of a sudden they came up and when all the spikes were up it looked like a flower it was amazing then after we walked home through the train station and guess what I saw I saw the platform 9 and 3/4 platform from harry potter my mum took a photo of me with it, it was so cool! Then after we just walked home it was cold but I didn't mind then we came home and went to bed.

Wellington trip 10/10/19

Today we had to drive all the way to Picton then go on the fairy BUT when we were in Kaikoura I spewed my sister said that I was just hungry but then I spewed but I was very hungry and don't worry im better now you don't need to worry. It was a very boring,Unexciting 5 hour drive but my favourite bit was when I got some lollies and I got to listen to music because my sister was nice enough to let me on her phone. Then we had a break in Kaikoura's town square and had a chocolate croissant and we went up to this brige while my mum and nana was attacked by seagulls because of the food! Then we walked when we were in Picton to the fairy and wait and then we got on the fairy and got some food and ate it. If you read this blog post 2:40 around 5 I am most likely to be on the boat still.

Swimming With Liv

Today Liv or Olivia came around to my house and we went for a walk we went to the diary and while we were walking this old man went past us and he said to Liv '' Hi love'' and I just said hi then we carried on walking then we turned around and he was starring at us then we kept walking and he didn't move and he was still starring we felt so freaked out and we just carried on walking but he just starred at us. Now we were at home and we told my mum what happened and she just told us about be careful and yeah so then we deiced to go to Liv's house and so we did we were fine then we played on the tramp and we went into her pool and it was so cold I had to wear a wet suit to go into the pool it was freezing and it took ages to get my hole body into the pool and my feet were num but it was good so my feet couldn't feel the coldness of the pool then we started sing and screaming the songs that we were playing because we were playing music and we were acting the songs out and all that and we were being so dramatic we were like at the end of wolfs the song she fell into the pool with her hand out like she was grabbing something and she was also trying to do a belly flop but when ever she did it she would move at the last second I remember when I was at a party at Liv's and everyone was in the pool but just the kids and I did so much belly flops when I got out my tummy was red! Then arfter we just well I just went home and that was my day at Liv's hoped you enjoyed bye and here a google drawing of Liv's pool hope you liked it.

Holiday Maths Part 2

I have now done the sliver fractions and I have to be honest I did ask for help but my sister didn't tell me the answers she just helped me. Now on this slide show it only had 7 which was good because it was really hard for me it might not be hard for you but it was hard for me. As I said on part 1 I know its not much but at least you get to see the slide show I did

Holiday Maths Part 1

On the first week of the holidays I did some maths I did the bronze first and im working up to do the sliver and the gold. On the bronze slide show there was 10 slides of maths and fractions we had to say what fractions they were and some other stuff heres the slide show of the fractions I did. My 10th Birthday

On Thursday the 3rd it was my 10th birthday we went to flip out with my cousins and some of my friends I invited Elliott,Lily,Charlee and Jennifer and the cousins that came was Bede and ruby they are twins and the oldest then we have Issac and Aruther, Issac is same age but i´m older by 27 days the Aruther is The youngest and hes 6. At Flip out we played hide in seek and I saw Taj there with holiday programme and all the boys there threw foam balls at us it was annoying but funny then Taj hid my jumper which was annoying then finally he gave it back when he was leaving. Then we came back and we opened some presents and we went onto the tramp then when we were on the tramp lily had a bush spider on her and she started crying and screaming but Elliott got it of her then we all ran inside to eat some cake, the cake was a rainbow cake and me and my mum baked it together then my mum decorated it. Pixel Art

Today we did Pixel Art with Miss Holland (my teacher) and we did pixel art we could chose out of a emoji face a mine craft skin or a whale and Charmander I chose the emoji face it was hard and easy at the same time. After we did the pixel art we had to add up all the sides and count them up.

How to make a peanut butter sandwich

How to make a peanut butter sandwich

What you need: Multi Grain Bread,peanut butter, Butter Knife, plate

Step 1: Get two pieces of MultiGrain Bread pieces out of the bread bag and put them next to each other on the tray.

Step 2: Get your peanut butter and open the lid then get your butter knife and stick the pointy bit in first.

Step 3: Then scoop a bit of peanut butter from the pointy bit of the butter knife. Get the fat bit of the butter knife and pull it out of the peanut butter with the some of the  peanut butter on your knife.

Step 4: Get your knife and put the knife in your hand then rub it on the multi grain bread piece then put the knife softly on the bench then take it  out of your hands then get the bread that you didn't put peanut butter on and put it on the peanut butter face of the bread then put the two pieces of bread face the peanut butter side to the blank face of the bread.

Step 5: Take a HUGE bite and enjoy!

My teacher did this and it kind of worked but in the end it still looked like a sandwich then my teacher ate it in front of us :)

Inter Land

Today We had Mark and we played Inter land, the game is about how you deal with bully's on line and how you can block them. I really like this game because you can do different levels and there are different things you can do on Inter Land. My favourite monition is Kindness Kingdom, and if you finesse it you have this challenge after. I think the one that is really hard is Tower of Treasure because its really fast and I keep banging into stuff that is in the way, Here is my DLO of Inter Land.

My Narrative - The Abandoned City

                   The Abandoned City

One day in the life of a child, there were one  teenager and a kid their names were Maddie and Luke they lived in a tiny house with their parents, their parents didn't really look after them well. Luke and Maddie went on a walk luke didn't like his life but Maddie loved it! Maddie tried to persaud luke that his life is great but instead Luke persuaded Maddie to help him run away. So one night they packed warm clothes, short sleeves tops, food, they packed all of that in there school bag and went off they walked non stop then 5 days later of walking they came up to this spooky looking city it looked like it was bombed. there was no one to be seen but then Maddie heard a talking noise they hid in this adopt shin centre then they saw the talking noise it was guards with guns all of a sudden she heard someone breath it wasn't luke we were as quiet as a mouse. 

When the guard was gone she looked around she saw a little girl crying who was trying to hold it in. She sat next to her and whispered to the little girl ̈ Are you okay?̈ ̈ but she just sat still as quiet as an ant. Again to the little girl Maddie whispered ̈ What's your name? I'm Maddie and over there is Luke ̈ still the little girl just sat there for about 5 minutes later the little girl started to talk she muttered ̈ Why?̈ ̈ Maddie looked confused ̈ Why What?̈ ̈ Maddie questioned ̈ Why are you caring for me I don't even know you ̈ the little girl explained. Maddie answered ̈ because… I can imagine how hard it is to go through what your going through to be scared for the rest of your life because of these stuipted guards!?!¨”Maddie got very angry but she calmed down about 2 minetes earlier. The little girl looked up, ̈ Lucy ̈ she said ̈ What, whos lucy?̈ ̈ Maddie was very confused right now ̈ I'm Lucy ̈ Lucy said ̈ Oh ok so you want help getting out of here!̈ ̈ Maddie said  very bravely ¨ Really you would help me ̈ Lucy said very excitedly ¨ Well duh of course!̈ ̈ Maddie added ̈ but I need to look around first to see if there's any  one else that we need to save ̈ Maddie said looking around  then lucy very sarcastically said ̈ Wow I bet there just gonna let you look around for kids ̈ Maddie looked at Lucy ̈ Do you want me to save you or not ̈ Lucy added ̈Well then what's the plan we can't just hide in places then when they are gone we keep going!̈ ̈ Lucy looked at Maddie. Then Maddie said ̈ok good idea see we are a good team, that will be our plan well hide then keep moving, thanks lucy ̈ Maddie replied, Lucy sighed and thought to herself we are gonna die even luke didn't know what he was doing and he didn't like it. So they went on with the plan Maddie started to feel worried then Maddie said very loudly¨ THERE'S SO MANY GUARDS!̈ ̈ Luke and Lucy looked at Maddie very angrily and said together ̈shhhhhhhhhhhhhh ̈ ̈ sorry ̈ Maddie said very quietly. 10 minutes later they were hiding under a table of an old market table trying not to be seen. About 30 guards walked past all but one. When that one guard walked past lucy sneezed then that one guard looked under the table and there they were. Maddie whispered to Lucy and luke ̈ run ̈ Lucy couldn't believe what she said, she said back ̈ i'm not leaving you i'm not going ̈ Maddie looked at lucy ̈ please i'd rather die than see you get hurt and I am the oldest, I'm supposed to keep you guys safe ̈Lucy didn't understand ̈ who cares let's just run together ̈ lucy was really desperate for a yes but then the guard said ̈ you know I can still see and hear you guys ̈ luke looked at Maddie and gave her a big hug Maddie broke into tears but before she could say anything else lucy and luke was already gone.

The guard took Maddie and now it was just Lucy and luke, ¨I can't believe Maddie did that!?!̈ ̈ Lucy was still shocked because luke did just pick her up and ran Luke answered ¨”Well she did want us to be safe ̈ all Luke wanted to do right now go to sleep and dream of food and but he knew that he had to get the food so he told lucy to hide and he will go hunting for food. Half an hour later luke came back with sushi well that's what luke thought he actually came back with a chicken in his hands, then luke looked as though he got knocked out so lucy got the dead chicken and found some wood and an old box of matches so she set up a camp fire and cooked the chicken but first she looked  around to see if there was any smoke alarms there was not because she was inside after all. 

The chicken was finally cooked so Lucy got bucket of water from a nearby park and she powers the water over luke he woke right away with a little shocked the first thing he said was ̈ mmmmm chicken come on lucy dinner time!̈ ̈ Lucy was shocked by what he said ̈um excuse me but I made this so Ill choose when you can have it ̈Lucy said very angry ̈  Uh can I just have the leg I LOVE the leg?̈ ̈ Luke asked ̈fine ̈ lucy said with a sigh, so they both ate all the chicken and went to sleep on these old beds. The next day Lucy was gone, luke looked around for Lucy but he couldn't find her, when he was trying to look for her one of guards found luke the guard took luke  in this secret base and there was heaps of prisoners but one of them looked very similar it was Maddie, luke just wanted to go hug her but he knew couldn't because he was getting held by a guard.

He was put in a cage next to Maddie and lucy ̈ LUCY WHY ARE YOU HERE¨ luke shouted ̈ shhhhhhh if you dont be quiet ill feed you to the sharks ̈ and the guard wasn't joking there was a shark tank right next to them. Luke was SOOOOO angry at Lucy ̈ I can tell you the whole thing when we get out  of here¨ lucy said very very quietly. For the rest of the time they were in the cages it was silent as night, 10 minutes past and luke finally broke the silence between them he said to both Maddie and luke ¨”I have a plan to get out of here…….. ALIVE¨ ¨ok then tell us”Maddie said ̈ ok Maddie you distract that guard and you trick him to get you out then knock him out then steal his keys and get me and Lucy out of these keys and then we sneak past the other guards and yeah is that it then we will head back home ̈ luke was so pumped about this that he forgot about the guard so the guard got up from his chair unlocked the cage and picked up luke and walked to the shark tank luke had to think fast he punched him in the face and the guard dropped luke and fall to the ground and fainted so he just stole the keys and unlocked the cages. They sneaked past the other guards and headed home they made a new life with Lucy, luke Maddie and Lucy are practically related.

Places where you can pray

In room 2 we are learning about worshipping and what it means, it means that you praise him and love him. My DLO is about places where you can pray and who you can pray with. For where two or three gather in my name, there  am I with them Matthew 18:20 that verse meant that God is always with you when you pray. I hope you like my DLO.

Today  room 2 we did a play with room 4. We started to practise our plays on Monday my group was called the Keas in my group I had Cody,Violina,Charlee,Corina,Chleo,Llinkon, and our play was about all of these birds and they want to turn the forest into places Charlees bird wich was the a Kea she wanted to turn it into a car park. Codys bird was a Hawk and Corina bird was a Kakapo Violinas bird was a kereru my bird was a Ruru (Owl) and a Pukeko Chelos brid was Tui and Linkon was a Kiwi. Here is our play hope you enjoy

Lost but then found

Today in class we had to do another animation we had to do lost something then find it. I really enjoy doing them and if you see a boy in the back ground thats Methyus dont mind him. I asked if my friend molly could be in it and she said yes so thats the person that I was doing it with and m the one with the long french plats.

Today we had a session with Mark he showed us two new apps one is called Stop Motion Animator and the other is called WeVideo. On Stop Motion Animator you can make your own movie and do all that stuff on there so I made my clip on that so I just made my house and my person and I made the dog also. Then we go onto WeVideo we press a green cloud then we download what our animation that we just did then we edit it you can add music, back grounds,credits at the end and heaps of other stuff so I made mine and it dosnt take that long only when your downloading it then its fine.                      I hope you like my animation.

Manners

Netball

Today we did winter sports I  did netball. We won and we versed Queens park school we won by 10 1 they got 1 and we got 10. I played Center and Atack and I was off for two quarters and I got two scores in the hoop. I also play for new brighton netball club we play every Saturday which is kinda annoying but I still love playing netball. We played at the new brighton courts.

Today in class we learned about private and public information we did it in buddy s room 3 and 2 buddy up and did the work together

We did a poster with our buddy's I did private and charlee did public she wrote every thing that your suppose to write on a blog.

I did what your not suppose to share like your email or phone number so i made up a person and shared fake stuff. Do you know how to keep your personal information to your self ?

Te Wairua Tapu

Today in class we learnt about Te Wairua Tapu. What we needed was The Big World Bible. We had to Answer some questions them in the Bible. Say if you had to find john 14:16 We had to find chapter 14 and then there is little numbers and you need to find the little number 16 and then you read and type or write it down heres a photo of the questions we had to answer.

How to be safe online

Today we had Mark he is guy that helps us with us online and teach us new things every Wednesday. today  we learned to keep personal information to yourself. you can share what your favourite food, and favourite animal, favourite movie and you age but theirs still some things you cant share. Like address/ where you live, phone number, full name especially birth date. you can share these if you ask for permission from a adult you trust. Heres a goolge drawing of things we had to find.

Playing with PowToon

Today in class we learned about a new app called PowToon there was heaps of things you could do. On my PowToon There was a blank screen but then I found something really cool I did a new years screen it said Happy new year 2019 with stars on the top dangling down and a wine bottle and all the wine fell out and there was two wine glasses. Then I put one mum and one kid and they were waving if you put it all together and watch it looks really cool. I really liked PowToon because you can get really creative and create heaps of stuff and there is  different types of themes you can chose from there is realistic, cartoon, modern edge, whitebored.
