WALT: To write about new Brighton
We had to make a advertisement about getting people to visit New Brighton, So hopefully it works and if you do come down make sure to check out everything on the slide because all of them are very fun.

Here at NBC we think that the playtimes are too short and we are here to tell you what we think about it…
Even the news letter from edutopia was talking about how we should have longer break times this is their newsletter. Longer breaks such as recess or playtime provide opportunities for children to learn important life skills. Research shows that when children play together, they learn how to take turns, resolve conflicts, and solve problems. They also learn how to manage their own emotions and behavior, fundamental skills for life. And if we have longer break time the teachers will have longer to talk and eat before we come in.
We should because it could make us more healthy and more fit so that is one reason and another reason is that we actually have more fun at school cause sometimes school is very very boring. So we deserve it.
The Evidence is This
Because I'm bored of not getting enough play time + we can get more exercise.
We want longer break time because 15 Minutes really is that all we get for morning tea we should at least have 30 minutes for starters it's more exercise and the and the recommended time is 20 and over we also need time because maybe some of us might get keeped inside for a bit and get out there when the music goes. I'm not saying that the people who have been behaving bad should get all the lunch time and not get a punishment im saying they should only miss 1 to 5 minutes and then they still get time to play
I think the other ideas are STUPID cuz we have da best idea
If you came to this school what would you want 15 minutes of playtime at morning tea or 30 minutes.
Don't you wanna have time to play or talk not just come outside and walk back in again
So if those reasons did not persuade you I don't know what will. BUT you have to at least consider changing it, think about it youll have longer breaks too. That's me done talking

WALT: to write an argument
Today we had a would yo rather and it was, Would you rather be a sports star or movie star. We had to do it in 10 mins and it was quite easy.
What would you choose to be a movie star or a sports star and whats your reasons?
Little did he know
On the surface, everything looked ordinary.
The boy in the boat was bored. He had lived beside this boring river with his boring family for his whole boring life. Nothing unexpected ever seemed to happen to him. He often went to bed at night and wished for something exciting in his life.
Little did he know, underneath the ground he walked on and the river he rowed his boat on, a marvellous, mysterious, magical menagerie of life stirred.
His life was about to become a lot more interesting…
‘’JAMES HELP ME BRING IN THE FISH’’ shouted his father james jumped into the water and swam to his father and helped him bring in the fish when he was bring the fish in he saw some lights in the water he wanted to know what it was he didnt want to let his parents worry so he agreed to investigate at the start of night. When I was rowing round in my boat I started noticing more lights in the distance, he wanted to know what they were. Night fell and he jumped in his boat and went to investigate as he got closer more lights went out’’did they know i was coming?’’ he thought to himself. He jumped out of his boat and into the water but instead of swimming he kept on falling and then he hit the ground he was so confused. ‘’Ow my head’’ he said rubbing his head’’Where am I? Hello’’ he saw all the lights go off and he looked up at the top of the water but how did they do that? He said well keep on reading and they might tell you… A young girl about the age of 9 walked up to him very scared and said’’ Where did you come from and why are you here and are gonna hurt us?’’ James was very confused and he didn't know what to say’’ um I came from above the water and i'm not gonna hurt you I was just looking around’’a teenager came from the shadows and said’’ pfft no one comes from up there go to bed lily’’ the little girl runs off and the teenager comes closer and says’’ What do you want from us?’’ this is all just too confusing and he was very scary looking.’’Um I don't want anything from you. Like I said I was just looking around I saw lights and I wanted to know what it was’’ Ah we have a snooper’’ ‘’I am NOT a snooper’’ They argue for about 10 minutes and james finally says’’ I'm james from the land up there and your a big talky mouth’’ ‘’ wow not rude or disrespectful at all huh. My name is actually Luke, nice try though’’ he was asking all about what was up there and I had a idea’’ Why don't you come to land with me, It would be fun” luke stood there frozen and in fear’’ b-but I don't know how to swim’’ ‘’ do you know how to hold your breathe’’yes…’’ ‘’Then you will be good to go” I held onto his arm and we jumped into the water wall and I swam and I pulled him up. I pulled him onto the grass’’ You ok?’’ no answer I snuck into my house and I pulled out two towels and snuck back he said’’ Thanks and wow there is actually people living up here huh” I didnt know that he didnt know there wasnt anyone here’’ I guess so’’. Few years past and they become best friends and the two cities united and they celebrated with a big bomb fire. Thats the end of
