We are learning about all kinds of Robots

Today at school we learnt about all kinds of robots.
We had a visitor from University of Canterbury called Matthew Young.
He taught how he made all kinds of robots he showed us videos of the other robots
and his robots . All kind of robots were competing in a maze but he said that they
had to be careful around or the robots would hurt  their feet because they had
little  weapons . There was all kinds of silly looking robots there was a duck one
that had white wings on the side and a rubber duck in the middle. There was a
pirate ship one that had little people on it.
We learnt that all robots are made out of the same things but they look different .
Robots are made of circuit, magnets, weights, and metal all of that is the outside
of the robot. We learnt that some robots think by themselves and some
are controlled by a controller. Robots are phones and computers, apple tvs, Siri
basically everything. What do you know about robots?
