Motivating Maths

WALT: to work out the maths problem 

Today we did some maths. One of the problems were 14 + 9 + 6 + 1 + 4 + 6. You work that out by. 14 + 9 + 6 + 1 + 4 + 6

14+4= 18

9+1=10

6+6=12

then 18+10+12=40

so then it = 40.

I liked doing this strategy because it makes it more fun and it makes it really easy.

How would you work this out and do you have a easier strategy?

Friendly Friends

WALT: to do a DLO about whats makes a good friend

Today we did some friend work and we had to make a DLO about it. I really liked doing this because it was fun saying like what a friend does.  My teacher Mr Gray sent us the DLO and we just had to make everything else. I got the photos from my mum.

today we had to do R.E and it was about we had to search up one of the Bible story and then say what the story says about god and then say how they see him. This was really fun because I got to play with the shapes and make people.

WALT: to write a paragraph and put punction in.

Today me and my friends went to the willow bank and we saw very cool animals, After we went around all the animals we got ice cream it was a very yum Ice Cream. The next day me and my family went swimming with sharks, the sharks were very friendly and no one got bit. After the swimming we got out and went to the gift shop because they had a big screen of us swimming. It was so cool we were allowed to get anything from the gift shop and I got a shark toy it was so softtttt and cuddly.

On Thursday we did maths... But it wasn't actually that bad :o I got all of them done without getting stressed. I liked doing this maths because it wasn't hard and I learnt new strategies to!
