I made my own wreath and its was really fun but i just didn't know how to make it properly but i think i did a good job, I actually didn't know that candles stand for love hope peace and joy

My buddy was Claudia and we did a story about Santa and Mrs Claus. It was really fun making the comic strip because you can draw and colour and it was really fun,
The story line is if you get confused.
Santa is really stinky and Mrs Claus want to make Santa have a shower but he doesn't want to so Santa runs away and Mrs Claus chases him and she cant catch him so she rings the police.

we had to do a word search and about new Zealand and find places on the map.I worked with Miller and Oli. We didn't get to finish it so we didn't find all the places but it was kind of boring.

Yesterday we made our own masks without sewing it together! It was really fun and easy and its super fast to make, all you need is 2 hair bands and some fabric. Heres a photo of my mask i took yesterday when we made them.

Dear Dairy , I'm going to go visit Elizabeth, my cousin, because I have big news for her. I believe that God really did choose me to have her. I feel so blessed so i pray in your name that I do a good job looking after him. In the morning when you came into school you had to put your bag on your desk because we were going to the museum! My buddy on the bus was paityn we sang bob the bendy bus which was a song I made up, and we were in the front of the bus, I was at the window seat which in my opinion is the best seat.
After the bus we got to sit in some shade because it was melting hot!! We got to eat some morning tea then we got to play on margret Mayhew park me and paityn raced each other on the flying fox and she pushed me on the big circle spider swing we also went on the big slide which was really fun but also squishy when your getting up there.
After that we had to walk in the burning weather to the library, me Joe Oli and miller played minecraft then we dressed up it was so much fun and after that we had to walk again to the museum and we got to see the new exhibit the new moon one I absolutely loved it because I love everything about space I just find it so interesting.

I did Saint Philomena, And i also dressed up as her for all saints day today, We had to do a whole doc about our saint. Heres the doc for my saint.

What did you do for your birthday?
Because I had an amazing yum breakfast! Then after i got to open my presents, i got some new shoes and some leotards for dance and some dangly earrings also some chocolate!
I went out shopping with my nana to Colombo and town. When we went to the colombo we went to the dance shop first and i got this really pretty leotard for dance, it was split into 2 colours so there were black hips down then it was black flowers on the top and there was a gold line splitting the colours and its really pretty. I also got another one. It was an all white one and it had see through flowers on my neck area and at the back it's all see through flowers. I really like it.
Then we went into the colombo and got a fruit smoothie. It was yummy then we got some sushi, then we went to town and we went to the new river side market. I got strawberry ice cream, after me and my nana just talked then we walked to the shops. We went to H & M and I got a new nice jumper. It has white gray and yellow. It has yellow on the sleeves then a thick line of gray then white on the gray it says ‘’make new memories’’. Then we walked back to the car and nana dropped me of home and we just chilled until dinner time and we went to little high, it was packed we were thinking we had to find another place to eat if it wasn't for some people who work there found a table for all of us, i got a burger and so did my brother but my brother ended up eating mine and i was eating his but i didn't eat all of it because he order such big burger. Then we walked around town and when we were going home we went to margret mayhepark and it was really dark it was so much fun then we went home!
I am so thankful for my loving family making me have an amazing 11th birthday!

So the seniors did a rubbish pick up while the jorner were at willow bank (basically a zoo)
i was holding the bag because i was the leader of the year 6s and we found heaps of rubbish it was really disgusting and we were walking all the way to Thompson park for our reward, when we got to thompson park me and jennifer ran to the flying fox and we went on with each other then we went to the swings and we were on that for awhile after i went on the flying fox with dakota, then mr gray took a photo of everyone there. Im really disapointed and disgusted of how much rubbish we found it was really gross.

WALT: to keep our eye on the ball
Today for P.E we spilt into to year groups so the y5s and the y6s the year 5s did this bouncy castle thing while the year 6s played another version of cricket once Georgia whistled twice we swapped over and then we got a turn on the bouncy thing, what we did so we ran onto the bouncy thing one at a time and someone threw a ball at us at the same time and we are trying to catch it. I had many falls i grased my knee but i did get 5 catches. i think this was the funnest thing i have ever done in P.E. Here is a photo from the year 6s and year 5s.

All i did was draw a cartoon self of me i really like doing these designs for drawing people i hope you like my drawing as much as i do.

I made some cartoons from the odd 1s out if you dont know who they are they are a YouTube channel and he does cartoons hes really funny and its very entertaining i definitely recommend it. I put the real picture and my cartoon version. I liked making these cartoons cause it was really fun and it was fun using the shapes and doing the details please tell me if they look kinda of same.

We had to make a DLO about maori emotions and we had to put photos of what they look like I did this with my friend Charlee. It was really fun making this because we could look around on photos.

Squirrel Monkeys
I'm going to be telling you about the squirrel monkey and all the facts about them and where they live and how they protect themselves
Squirrel Monkeys have heaps of vocal calls also warning sounds to keep themselves safe from large falcons which is a natural danger to them. Their small body size make them susceptible to predators as snakes and fields. For marking their own territory They rub their tail and their skin and rub it in there own pee disgusting
Squirrel Monkeys do live a pack called troops There troops have at least 500 monkeys. But it can be smaller i up to 40 or 50 They communicate by voice calls and there are 25-30 voice calls

Everyday for maths we do number trails, Mr Gray puts up a number for there maths group and there are certain numbers we have to add them up to this week it was 97 our number was and it was very hard doing it but im managed to do it.

We did a parade with all the classes walked in front of the judges and there were 2 winners for every class a girl winner and a boy winner. And for my class me and Fletcher won. Fletcher was willy wonkier and i was Bob the minion. There were two willy wonkers there was the original and the new one.

Here at NBC we think that the playtimes are too short and we are here to tell you what we think about it…
Even the news letter from edutopia was talking about how we should have longer break times this is their newsletter. Longer breaks such as recess or playtime provide opportunities for children to learn important life skills. Research shows that when children play together, they learn how to take turns, resolve conflicts, and solve problems. They also learn how to manage their own emotions and behavior, fundamental skills for life. And if we have longer break time the teachers will have longer to talk and eat before we come in.
We should because it could make us more healthy and more fit so that is one reason and another reason is that we actually have more fun at school cause sometimes school is very very boring. So we deserve it.
The Evidence is This
Because I'm bored of not getting enough play time + we can get more exercise.
We want longer break time because 15 Minutes really is that all we get for morning tea we should at least have 30 minutes for starters it's more exercise and the and the recommended time is 20 and over we also need time because maybe some of us might get keeped inside for a bit and get out there when the music goes. I'm not saying that the people who have been behaving bad should get all the lunch time and not get a punishment im saying they should only miss 1 to 5 minutes and then they still get time to play
I think the other ideas are STUPID cuz we have da best idea
If you came to this school what would you want 15 minutes of playtime at morning tea or 30 minutes.
Don't you wanna have time to play or talk not just come outside and walk back in again
So if those reasons did not persuade you I don't know what will. BUT you have to at least consider changing it, think about it youll have longer breaks too. That's me done talking

Little did he know
On the surface, everything looked ordinary.
The boy in the boat was bored. He had lived beside this boring river with his boring family for his whole boring life. Nothing unexpected ever seemed to happen to him. He often went to bed at night and wished for something exciting in his life.
Little did he know, underneath the ground he walked on and the river he rowed his boat on, a marvellous, mysterious, magical menagerie of life stirred.
His life was about to become a lot more interesting…
‘’JAMES HELP ME BRING IN THE FISH’’ shouted his father james jumped into the water and swam to his father and helped him bring in the fish when he was bring the fish in he saw some lights in the water he wanted to know what it was he didnt want to let his parents worry so he agreed to investigate at the start of night. When I was rowing round in my boat I started noticing more lights in the distance, he wanted to know what they were. Night fell and he jumped in his boat and went to investigate as he got closer more lights went out’’did they know i was coming?’’ he thought to himself. He jumped out of his boat and into the water but instead of swimming he kept on falling and then he hit the ground he was so confused. ‘’Ow my head’’ he said rubbing his head’’Where am I? Hello’’ he saw all the lights go off and he looked up at the top of the water but how did they do that? He said well keep on reading and they might tell you… A young girl about the age of 9 walked up to him very scared and said’’ Where did you come from and why are you here and are gonna hurt us?’’ James was very confused and he didn't know what to say’’ um I came from above the water and i'm not gonna hurt you I was just looking around’’a teenager came from the shadows and said’’ pfft no one comes from up there go to bed lily’’ the little girl runs off and the teenager comes closer and says’’ What do you want from us?’’ this is all just too confusing and he was very scary looking.’’Um I don't want anything from you. Like I said I was just looking around I saw lights and I wanted to know what it was’’ Ah we have a snooper’’ ‘’I am NOT a snooper’’ They argue for about 10 minutes and james finally says’’ I'm james from the land up there and your a big talky mouth’’ ‘’ wow not rude or disrespectful at all huh. My name is actually Luke, nice try though’’ he was asking all about what was up there and I had a idea’’ Why don't you come to land with me, It would be fun” luke stood there frozen and in fear’’ b-but I don't know how to swim’’ ‘’ do you know how to hold your breathe’’yes…’’ ‘’Then you will be good to go” I held onto his arm and we jumped into the water wall and I swam and I pulled him up. I pulled him onto the grass’’ You ok?’’ no answer I snuck into my house and I pulled out two towels and snuck back he said’’ Thanks and wow there is actually people living up here huh” I didnt know that he didnt know there wasnt anyone here’’ I guess so’’. Few years past and they become best friends and the two cities united and they celebrated with a big bomb fire. Thats the end of
